Dr. Monica Carrillo


 

Dr. Monica Carrillo is an ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist practicing at the Ocular Health Centre in Milton and Kitchener, Ontario. She trained at the Toronto Western Hospital, University of Toronto, and Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Dalhousie University, Halifax, as a Glaucoma specialist. During her training she was granted with the Lim Family Memorial Award by the University of Toronto, Toronto Western Hospital and Stephen Drance Award by the Canadian Glaucoma Society for the best research presentation. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Universidad CES (Columbia) and completed Ophthalmology Residency at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (Columbia). Dr. Carrillo is licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

 

Dr. Carrillo has practiced as an ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist in Canada for over 15 years and is fluent in English and Spanish.
