Dr. Jennifer Duimering is an urgent care optometrist at the Ocular Health Centre. She completed her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degree (deans honours) at the University of Waterloo. She ranked highest in her class in clinical optometry; receiving both the JC Thompson Memorial Prize for Optometry and the AAOF Award of Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care. Dr Duimering has extensive training in ocular emergencies and disease. As a medically focused optometrist, she manages a variety of acute and chronic eye conditions in conjunction with our team of ophthalmologists.
At OHC we have a collaborative approach to patient care between optometry and ophthalmology. When presenting with acute care concerns you will likely be seen by Dr. Duimering or one of our other urgent care optometrists in consultation with our ophthalmologists. This facilitates a more efficient, higher quality patient care and overall experience. We look forward to serving your eye care needs.
