Dr. Manreet Alangh is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who finished his Doctor of Medicine from McMaster University. He went on to complete his Ophthalmology residency from McMaster University and is now a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.
He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
Growing up in the city of Kitchener-Waterloo, he has strong ties to the community and is excited to move back to serve patients in need. He is well trained in all aspects in ophthalmology, both surgical and medical. He wishes to practice true comprehensive ophthalmology and is happy to accept any such referrals. His surgical areas of expertise include cataract and pterygium surgery. Minor procedures are also welcome, including lid lumps & bumps as well as ocular surface procedures. He also has a strong interest in medical retina including anti-VEGF therapies for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and vein occlusions.
Dr. Alangh is committed to patient care and prides himself on having excellent bedside manner with patients and regular communication with referring health care professionals.
